Due to the “global financial crisis” our company is downsizing. Seems every week another handful of people get their notice. Silly thing is that they’re not taking voluntary redundancies and the people who are getting put off are the competent staff with plenty of knowledge, skills & experience – they’re the ones that want to stay. And all the lazy, dumb people that want to leave are staying…gee that’s good for productivity and business in general, isn’t it?! FAIL!
