My boss has been in the process of recruiting for a senior position. He made the stupid mistake of blurting out to a few members of our team, who the successful applicant was before he told the applicant. Happened to be someone in our team so of course she was pleased to find out she got a promotion but disgusted that everyone else knew before her. Can’t say I blame her. FAIL!
