Earlier today our office email stopped working. I asked my boss if she was aware of the issues and she replied “Of course – I sent an email to everyone advising there was an outage the moment I noticed there was a problem – didn’t you receive it?”… FAIL!

The project team I’m part of needed to submit a report to our boss which would be discussed in the next board meeting. It was quite thorough, but our boss said it needed to be longer. When we asked what parts were missing or needed to be discussed in further detail he replied “I don’t know, it’s just to thin – if I’m going to be giving something to the board, I want it to be thicker and look more impressive… I don’t care what it says as long as it looks good”… FAIL!

Received an email from my boss telling me how appreciated I was and how valuable I am to the company. I wish I hadn’t scrolled down to read the included conversation where he asked his boss whether to lie to me about how good I was or not.. FAIL!
